Food Travel: Slappy Cakes

Before I left the Philippines, I had the chance to eat at Slappy Cakes in SM Aura Premier located at McKinley Pkwy, Lungsod ng Taguig. I always wanted to try it with my family because we love eating pancakes.

And since we love pancake, we chose to make our own pancake. Haha. We chose a batter made from buttermilk. Some chocolate chips, mangoes, and bananas for fixins and maple syrup for our toppings.

I really love the freshness of the mangoes complementing with the sweetness of the buttermilk. Then add some chocolate chips on it, perfect combo!

You can also visit their branches at Eastwood Ave., Quezon City; 230 B SM City The Block, North Ave., Brgy. Bagong Pag-asa; and SM Jazz Jupiter Street Corner N. Garcia, Bgy Bel Air, Makati City.

After that, I also wanted to try the “make-your-own Magnum bar” at the first-ever Magnum Pleasure Store in the Philippines, 5th floor (Sky Park) in SM Aura Premier also. However, there was a long queue outside, it was hot, and I’m with a child so no thank you. Haha. So glad I got to try it here in Singapore. 🙂
