Food Travel: SuperTree by IndoChine

Every time we go to the SuperTree at Gardens by the Bay, I can’t help but notice this other entrance aside from the OCBC Skyway.

I keep on telling myself that I will find more about it when I come back and that time has come. There is an entrance fee though of 12 SGD until 5 PM only with a free juice drink or 20 SGD with a free alcoholic drink of your choice.

We went there a little bit too early as I hoped because it was blazing at the open deck so I didn’t enjoy the view that much plus I wanted to watch the OCBC Skyway lights and musical show from above which starts at 7:45 PM. We decided to not wait for it and just come back some other time so definitely one to look forward to.

Food Travel: Breakfast at Antonio’s Tagaytay

Breakfast at Antonio’s is located along E. Aguinaldo Highway (Tagaytay-Nagsugbu Highway), Barangay Bagong Tubig, Tagaytay City, Cavite, Philippines.

To get here drive along Tagaytay Nasugbu highway. You’ll pass by a market and then you can see Breakfast at Antonio’s on your left side. It is approximately 30 minutes away from the Rotonda if without that much traffic.

The ambiance was great and the food presentation too! I only tried their Tapsilog but sadly I did not become a fan of it. It does not taste bad but also it does not stand out from other tapas I’ve tasted. I mean with that price tag I would expect something special.

Food Travel: The Food Club

I went home in the Philippines last week to take care of some things and because I am already there, I planned to take on a food trip.

I asked my awesome friend to treat me at The Food Club, which I wanted to try since April but havent had the chance to do so.

Located at Bldg. E Bluebaywalk, President Diosdado Macapagal cor. EDSA, Pasay City, it is a new eat-all-you-can buffet in town.

Food Travel: Slappy Cakes

Before I left the Philippines, I had the chance to eat at Slappy Cakes in SM Aura Premier located at McKinley Pkwy, Lungsod ng Taguig. I always wanted to try it with my family because we love eating pancakes.

And since we love pancake, we chose to make our own pancake. Haha. We chose a batter made from buttermilk. Some chocolate chips, mangoes, and bananas for fixins and maple syrup for our toppings.

I really love the freshness of the mangoes complementing with the sweetness of the buttermilk. Then add some chocolate chips on it, perfect combo!

You can also visit their branches at Eastwood Ave., Quezon City; 230 B SM City The Block, North Ave., Brgy. Bagong Pag-asa; and SM Jazz Jupiter Street Corner N. Garcia, Bgy Bel Air, Makati City.

Food Travel: Magnum Pleasure Store Singapore

So I was planning to try the latest magnum craze before leaving the Philippines last month, which is to customize your own magnum ice cream.

I told you I’m really a fan of sweets and definitely ice cream is no exception to me. However, because of long queue outside the store I opt not to. Haha.

Then the other week I saw an ad near Marina Bay pertaining to this. So I hurriedly search for the place that was indicated on the ad and was so glad to find out that it was just near my working place.

Last week I asked my friend to accompany me to try it. She ordered from the menu and I tried customizing my own magnum, which is the reason why we went there in the first place. LOL.

Food Travel: Gelato Craze

First time I discovered that Gelato is amazing was just last year. Gelato has been here around for such a time now and the reason why I don’t try one is because I thought it was the same like those yoghurt ice cream that you can see everywhere.

I love sweets and ice cream is no exemption that is why when I tasted a yoghurt ice cream, it was a miss because it tastes sour.

My first Gelato experience was good but that doesn’t stop me to taste for more and look for the best Gelato in town.

And because I love Gelato, whenever I see one I don’t think twice to buy and try it, whatever it takes err the price is.

Where Next? The Food Club

Just saw this on a newly developed site near Mall of Asia in Pasay where Project Pie is located. It is an eat-all-you-can style restaurant like Yakimix and Vikings, which I already tried. It seems fine, clean, and sassy. I just hope the food tastes good. Definitely will try this soon!
