Review: Pico Sands Hotel Batangas

A 7-storey building with 154 guest rooms located at Pico de Loro Cove, Hamilo Coast, Barangay Papaya, Nasugbu Batangas. A choice of Standard, Superior, and Premier rooms with mountain view and Superior, Deluxe, Premier, Corner Deluxe, and Penthouse Loft rooms with Lagoon view.

It looks like a newly-built hotel as well as the buildings surrounding the 5900 hectares combination of natural environment and developed area. I think the other buildings was a residential because they offer a membership program that will give you access to all their facilities. In short you can go at Pico de Loro cove and go swimming at the pool, at their beach any time you please.

I cannot comment on the price as it was a company outing but I swear to come back so will just update you when that happens. Haha.

Team Building at Pico De Loro Cove Nasugbu Batangas

An all expense paid company team building at Pico de Loro Cove, Hamilo Coast in Nasugbu, Batangas who wouldn’t want?

It is my first time to go here and I became excited upon seeing their website and all those activities you can do aside from swimming.

I am not a beach lover for the reason that I didn’t know how to swim that is why I was grateful to know that I can do something here, well aside from swimming. LOL.

On our way to Pico de Loro. 2 to 3 hours travel time. You will need your own transportation to get here.

Caleruega Church: Close to Nature, Closer to God

Remember the reason why we are at Nasugbu Batangas? Since we’re already there, I thought why not drop by at Caleruega Church, famous for weddings and retreats. Located at Batulao, Brgy. Kaylaway, Nasugbu Batangas, it’s bordering Tagaytay and Nasugbu.

Now I know why it’s dubbed as among the Top 10 wedding churches in the Philippines to get married. The Transfiguration Chapel, as what they call it, is so small that it has an intimate vibe in it.

Review: Chateau Royale Sports and Country Club Batangas

We’ve been invited to a wedding at Nasugbu, Batangas and since the wedding starts at noon, we’ve decided to have an overnight stay somewhere near Caleruega Church where the ceremony will take place.

So I started googling and they suggested Chateau Royale which was 4.7 km away according to a booking site. My regimen when booking a hotel or accommodation is to search its exact location; how far was it from the city; and its accessibility. Secondly, I search for photos of the rooms and see if it complements the price. Lastly, I read feedback and reviews.

No single positive comment did I read from their guests but since this is the nearest, this time I didn’t mind the negative comments I decided not to expect.

And since I’m not expecting I learn to appreciate things, I think I should stop expecting now. LOL.
