Marina Bay Sands Light and Water Show

One of the things you can do when in Singapore is to watch the Light & Water show brought to us by Marina Bay Sands at the  Event Plaza at the Promenade.

I did enjoy the 13-15 minute show of light and water synced with the sound and music. I already watched it twice actually, but the story is vague for me. If they would think of a more suitable concept then, this show will be truly world-class.

Show Schedule:

Sunday – Thursday: 8 PM & 9:30 PM
Friday: 8 PM, 9:30PM, & 11 PM
Saturday: 9 PM, 9:30 PM, & 11 PM

I don’t want to post any video clip here because I don’t want to spoil anyone. Just come and see for yourself. 🙂

Singapore 2.0

It was a sudden decision to book a flight to SG, its Chinese New Year and it’s a holiday! Since I wasn’t able to complete my checklist during my last visit, I plan to do it now.

Well, I did some but decided not to go to Universal Studios Singapore (USS) anymore. Any way there’s always next time. Plus I enjoyed staying at the hotel too bad I wasn’t able to try their fitness centre and their awesome pool because I had my period. Why is it every time I’m planning to take a dip at the pool my menstruation always lets me down just like what it did at Pico de Loro. Sigh!

Nonetheless, my second time around here in Singapore is still worth it. I didn’t spend a cent aside from shopping. Haha. Free food, free accommodation, free passes, thanks to my sponsor! 😉

Remember my first trip here? So this is the continuation of what I wanted to do.

Singapore’s Super Tree

It is our third day in Singapore and our itinerary for the day was to go at Gardens by the Bay and at the famous Merlion statue.  Before that we went to Bugis market early in the morning to buy “pasalubong” for our family and friends.

After shopping at Bugis market and Ion Orchard Mall we went at Gardens by the Bay. Here you can enjoy lots of attractions like Flower Dome, Cloud Forest, Heritage Gardens, The Word of Plants, Kingfisher Lake, Dragonfly Lake, Bay East Garden, Children’s Garden, and the OCBC Skyway also known as the Super Tree.

Super Tree at night. Lights and Musical show starts at 8:45 PM, a must see.
